Amethyst Homes, Site Manager, Jonathan (Jona) Brown completed his marathon spinning cycle challenge, raising £3,000 for the 4Loius charity.
Jona pedalled for five and a half hours, burning an impressive 4,000 calories, as part of the charity challenge, in memory of his baby boy, Jack, who was born sleeping on the 8th June 2023.
He said: “My family and I want to say a huge thank you to everyone for their kindness and generosity in sponsoring me and for sharing my donations page. It was tough, but knowing we had so much support and doing it in memory of Jack and for such a worthwhile cause, certainly helped.”
4Louis is a UK charity that works across the country to support anyone affected by miscarriage, stillbirth and the death of a baby or child. It also works to improve the care bereaved families receive from health care and other professionals.
Richard Bass, Managing Director at Amethyst Homes added: “The whole team are so proud of Jona’s achievement – it was no meant feat. We are delighted that the money raised will enable 4Louis to provide such valuable support for families affected by stillbirth, miscarriage and the death of a baby or child.”
