Women in construction week

As the industry recognises Women in Construction Week (WIC) 3rd to 8th March, we too want to celebrate and promote the role of women within the industry.
Today we shine a spotlight on our New Homes Sales Manager Paula Spoor, who shares her thoughts on working in construction.
She said: “As a new homes sales manager with 23 years of experience in the construction industry, my role is to guide and support clients in finding their perfect home. I take great pride in overseeing the sales process, from collaborating with construction and design teams to ensuring customer satisfaction in the homes we deliver.

“I chose this career path out of a genuine passion for the construction industry. Witnessing the transformation of raw materials into beautiful, functional homes is inspiring to me. It’s a career that constantly challenges me to think creatively, problem solve and exceed expectations. The joy of helping individuals and families find their dream home is incredibly fulfilling.

“To other women looking to work in construction, I say embrace your ambition and pursue your passions. The industry offers a wealth of opportunities for women to thrive and make a lasting impact. Your skills, determination and resilience will not only enhance your own career but inspire the next generation of women in construction.”

This year’s theme for WIC is ‘Keys to the Future’, celebrating the strength and knowledge of women and the vital role they play in shaping the future of the construction industry.
